"It all started with a quick Zoom call."
Elaines vision has genuine meaning in our modern age, working with businesses to help them get better at looking after their staff - not a “beanbag in a quiet room with a cat poster” kind of way, but by reshaping how management thinks and behaves.
It’s about leading with more compassion, clarity, and care.
The kind of stuff that genuinely improves people’s lives at work. She wanted to put money where her mouth is and create a digital series to deliver that message where it is needed.
The challenge
To create and produce a digital series that resonates with her customer base, while staying true to her original ideas and vision.
The solution
Create the right space to bring her content to life:
A professional setting with high-quality visuals and sound
Well-designed, animated slides to support her messaging
A beautiful, multipurpose location for B-roll and visual storytelling
Two professional actors to help demonstrate key moments and themes
It was a far cry from the initial Zoom/laptop-camera concept.
Personally, I was so glad she decided to invest in it—what she has to offer truly deserved that level of care and quality.
It all came together
With only a one-day shoot in the budget at the stunning Custom Lane offices we knew the size of the script was going to be the biggest hurdle. This was an online learning course in 4 acts but with the right support, it was entirely doable.
Elaine had never used a teleprompter before, but you'd never have known. While the team set up, we took a quiet moment to sit - chatting, warming up, and asking her to reiterate to me, why this work matters. That time to connect can make all the difference.
We used our own teleprompter kit - no clunky apps or fiddling required. Just clear, paced support. After a few test runs, Elaine dove in confidently.
Multiple costume changes, water breaks, a few laughs, by the end of the afternoon, she’d delivered the full course cleanly and with clarity.
The rest of the day was demo shots - Elaine with props, professional actors weaving in themes and moments from her course.
Nothing flashy. Just thoughtful, professional production and a client who left feeling proud.
With Saul Garrett on board to assist on the shoot and cut the final series, we delivered over 90 minutes of polished, professional content across four modules.
Elaine trusted us with her work and was always open to ideas and collaboration. She focused on her message, knowing we had everything else handled.
Why mention all this?
Working with a production company can feel intimidating , especially for a one person operation. But set boundaries early, and you might just be surprised.
Elaine knew being on camera could be a stumbling block, so she tackled it head on.
That confidence paid off.
If time is money, her savings were massive.
We find filming yourself with “unlimited time” is a fast track to storage overload and decision fatigue.
Sometimes the constraints are your best friend.
Elaine’s a brilliant example of someone who started with just a concept and said yes to collaboration.
Working with a production team doesn’t have to be intimidating—it just has to be honest.
And sometimes, one exciting Zoom call is all it takes.
