Overview

We were commissioned to create a brand film for Bonkers, a London-born dating app launched in 2023 that’s unapologetically fun, bold, and a bit chaotic — by design. The brief was to produce a film that introduced the app’s playful personality while standing out in a crowded market of polished, predictable dating platforms. We leaned into the brand’s name and ethos, crafting a fast-paced, attitude-filled spot that breaks the mould of traditional dating ads.

Bonkers is all about embracing the unexpected in dating — the weird, the wild, and the wonderful. Our film captures that energy through a series of quick-cut, stylised vignettes featuring mismatched but magnetic characters meeting in unpredictable ways. There’s speed, humour, awkwardness, and charm — everything real dating involves, but dialled up with colour and confidence. No swipe fatigue here — just honest chaos and authentic chemistry.
